The Filipino American Student Organization is proud to present this educational arts festival honoring and celebrating the multifaceted Filipino American identity.
RATED P is the first ever Filipino American Arts Festival at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, a national leader in Southeast Asian Studies, particularly on the Philippines, with the largest archive collections maintained by Memorial Library.
RATED P will challenge participants to explore self-identity and cultural understanding through Delina Brooks' powerful performance, understand the pressing and controversial current situation with the War on Terror in the Philippines with Professor Alfred McCoy, discover the savory flavors of Filipino cuisine with Slow Food UW, and create community expression through muralism with MEChA.
Our friends and co-sponsors include:
Center for Southeast Asian Studies, Slow Food UW, Pathways to Excellence, Multicultural Council, Wisconsin Experience Grant, MEChA, Asian American Student Union, Campus Women's Center, aKDPhi, Chi Sigma Tau, Queer People Of Color, Wisconsin Black Student Union
